LITTLE TEXAS - What Might Have Been (Video)

This song brings back memories for me. People every where wonder what might have been if they took the other road. In our lives we have forks in our roads and we get to decided which one we take. But as we take the road that we chose we often look back and wonder what the other road would of been like. We all know that we can not walk back and take the other road just to find out. what really need to do is exam the road we took and find out how to change it from a dirt road to a paved road.

FARMING LIFE

Let me tell you about farming life and my thoughts on farming and my family.

I have all my life lived in an agricultural community (37yrs).
My Grandad was a farmer and my dad helped him on the farm until my dad's
Health got bad.
When I was 19 yrs old I married a wonderful man the love of my life, Danial.
He came from a farming family and his granddad and mine were partners.
The first few years of our marriage he worked for other farmers in the area.
After 5 yrs, he decided to he wanted to be out on his own in farming so we bought a house on a ½ section of land (@320 acres of land).By then we had our first child then almost 5 yrs later our second.
I found out how hard a farmers life was due to loans, weather and bills. Don't get me wrong I enjoy my life with my family.
Let me explain a little, a farmer has to apply for a loan every year either from a bank or from the government. These loans have to be paid back every year before the farmer can get another loan. The papers for filling out such loans are confusing. To be able to get a qualify. They take your assets and weight them against your debt load then you have to them how you are going to pay the loan back(cash flow).
Cash flow to them means what you will produce (cotton, peanuts, wheat, etc..) and what you think the price for them will be by the time you harvest them. How much it will cost you to produce the product such as prices for seed, fuel, chemicals for weeds, fertilizer, etc.
The money you get for your crop goes to paying back your loan. Which in turns becomes income for the farmer on his IRS taxes. The payment for the loan isn't considered an expense only the interest.
This process happens every year for a farmer. He worries if he will be able to pay back the loan and if he will be able to get another loan for the next year.
The business part of farming I really don't understand completely. I just keep the books and help on the farm.
What I do enjoy is the fact I can work with my husband .I love watching the crops grow and see them change colors when they are ready to harvest.
I work in the summer with my daughter on the spray rig. We spray the fields and kill the weeds that harm our crops. We have to be very careful not to spray the crop or we will kill it also.
A few years ago, I decided to help my family out by starting my own business.
First, I tried to be a travel agent but now days with the internet there really isn't a need for one. I kept looking for a home based business and found a wonderful one.
I found Nuskin Enterprise. My goal was to help my family when times got tough to my surprise I found a lot more. I found another family and another support system.
People who truly care about me and my family. I am not just a number to them.
They help me out on any situation. I also found a company that I can stand behind.
We use the products every day. My mom uses the Galvanic spa for the veins in her legs.
We use the supplements for our allergies and we use their skin care product which are wonderful.

I hope this will explain some on farming life and more about who I am.

All About ME

I realize that many of you don’t really know much about me so I will let you in on a few things.
I was raised in a small farming town in Texas. I never left …lol . I graduated from in 1990 wasn’t on of the top 10 or the top 100. We had about 200 in our class. I wasn’t very popular because I didn’t make pretense of who I was or what I did or didn’t do. I could get along with all the groups most of the time but that was all never invited to go to their parties.
I married a nice guy right out of school. We have been married for 18 yrs a lot longer than most of my classmates. He is a farmer and has other businesses related to farming.
We have 2 kids a girl 13 and a boy 9. I never really had to go get a J-O-B. We do ok.
Then the kids started school and I didn’t have much to do and prices of everything went up so I found a wonder company Nuskin.
I love helping people out and making a difference in other people lives. The business has great training and I get to meet wonderful people who like to do the same things.
I tried being a Travel Agent but around here it just didn’t work.
I work on the farm when my hubby needs me too. I can be with my kids for anything without worrying about getting fired.
Nuskin has some of the best products out there. They research them before they put them on the market.
The people in my business are wonderful and very helpful when ever I need them they are there.
I would like to thank every single one of them for helping me through the bad times and the good times

THANKS ALOT EVERYONE !!!!!!!!

In The Box Theory

People live in an invisible boxes that they don't even know about or want to think about. The reasons for these boxes is fear.
1. Fear of the unknown
2. Afraid to believe in oneself
3. Fear of what others might think
4. Fear of rejection
People believe that they should do what is expected of them not what they want to do with their lives.
I say climb out of your box and forget what others might think of you because if they really care for you they will accept you for who you are not for what they want you to be. Go jump out and find the adventure theat you have been waiting for all your life. Take the leap of faith and be happy with who you are not be unhappy because you do what others want you to do.
Use the Laws of Attraction-The Laws of the Universe
Find out who you really are on the inside not what you are on the outside.

That is my thought fo the day.

Book and Music I love

Hello Everyone again.

I love to read romance/drama book set back just after the Civil War in Texas and about the Texas Rangers. The author I really like is Jodi Thomas. She knows how to keep my attention and make me feel like I am the woman in the story.

I love just about any kind of music except rap unless it is from the '80s.
I enjoy listening to George Strait,Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley,Nickelback(really when I am feeling low it cheers me up),Bon Jovi of course, any 80's rock band
I love the old country music about the cheating songs and love songs.
I enjoy Toby Keith. When I was in Vegas this Summer I went to his Bar. I loved the food there too bad Toby wasn't there.

I am a hard person to get to know. I am always being told that everyone says that I act like I am Mad all the time I am just that way I am not always mad I just don't act foolish all the time the I would be Crazy person.
I am a very giving person who would take the shirt off her back for anyone in need.
Thats all have to say right now. until later
give me your views about anything I am a good listener
